Bryan Rishforth is the Founder and Managing Partner of R&R Global Partners.
R&R Global Partners is a private investment firm that specializes in commercial real estate, retail, franchise development and growth technology. The company offers merger & acquisition advising, financial services and management consulting to financial and corporate clients.
Before starting his own business and achieving success in ways he had yet aspired to, Bryan graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he was an Eta Kappa Nu honors student. Since his graduation, he has stayed involved with his university, serving as Benefactor of the A.J. Drexel Society.
After graduation, Bryan Rishforth began working at GE. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as the Chief Risk Manager for GE Aviation, a $12 billion division of the company. In this role, he was responsible for leading the global underwriting, management and deal structuring of a $32 billion long-term aviation services portfolio. In 2001, he was chosen to lead the planned merger and integration of Honeywell’s aviation service unit which was a $9 billion portfolio.
Throughout his career with GE, Bryan held a number of different roles. These include positions in areas like manufacturing, engineering, finance, mergers and acquisition, and internal audits. He led business teams in many parts of the globe, including in Asia, Australia and Europe, as well as teams throughout the United States. Bryan Rishforth was also involved in the leadership for numerous arms of the GE brand, including GE Plastics, GE Lighting, GE Aviation, GE Appliances, GE Energy, GE Consumer (GE Money), GE Capital’s Employer’s Reinsurance and GE Insurance (Genworth).
Recruited in 2005 by Cerberus Capital Management, LP, an international investment fund in New York, Bryan Rishforth provided private equity operations management and buyout advisory services. He operated as a Senior Executive and Board Member for a variety of Cerberus portfolio companies located in North America, Asia and Europe for several years.
He also held positions as interim CEO, Chief Restructuring Officer, Vice-Chairman, Board Member, and an investor representative for a number of publicly and privately held companies.
Outside of his work, Bryan Rishforth is passionate about helping to build his community. He is a founding board member of TiE Philadelphia Chapter. TiE is a professional organization for entrepreneurs that was started in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of entrepreneurs. He is heavily involved with the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation. This foundation supports after school programs in the Philadelphia area to help high-risk inner-city children.
